Joint Australian and South Australian Government Guidelines

The Australian Minister for the Environment and Heritage and the South Australian Minister for Mineral Resources Development have jointly released ‘Guidelines for an Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed expansion of the Olympic Dam operations at Roxby Downs’. Submissions received on the Draft Guidelines/Issues Paper were considered in the development of these Guidelines.

These Guidelines establish the issues the government requires BHP Billiton to address in the EIS. A further opportunity for public comment will occur when the completed Draft EIS is released for comment.
